🔍 Upscale an image with AI
A photo that is too small, a blurry old memory, a pixelated logo, a drawing: the AI enlarges it 2 or 4 times by recreating details, instead of just stretching pixels.
The model is downloaded once, then kept by the browser. The image is processed in tiles: expect a few seconds (WebGPU) to about 5 minutes (phone without WebGPU) for a 1-megapixel photo.

Good to know
- The AI invents plausible details: perfect for a keepsake photo or an illustration, but not evidence (licence plate, distant face, unreadable text).
- "Drawing" mode gives a sharp but "painted" look: on a real photo, prefer "Photo" mode.
- To avoid running out of phone memory, a very large image is reduced first (16 megapixels output at most).
