Accessibility statement
Last updated: 25 October 2026
I want oufrid.com to be usable by everyone, including blind or low-vision people using a screen reader or a magnifier, people who navigate with a keyboard, and people with reading or attention difficulties or sensitivity to motion. This page explains what is done, what still needs improving, and how to report a problem.
Target level and conformance status
The site aims for level AA of the international accessibility guidelines WCAG 2.2. It is partially conformant: at the last check, on 25 October 2026, the axe-core automated audit found no error on the 26 main pages tested (light and dark theme, computer and phone), and keyboard navigation and the names read by screen readers were checked on the main pages. An automated audit does not catch every problem, and the site has not yet been assessed by an independent body.
Accessibility options
At the top of every page, the Accessibility and display button lets you choose:
- the light or dark theme;
- the text size, up to 200%;
- high contrast (black text on white, or white on black in the dark theme);
- wider text spacing, easier to read for people with dyslexia;
- underlined links, to spot them without relying on colour;
- the page without animations.
These choices are kept only on your device and apply to every page. The site also follows your phone or computer settings: dark theme, text size and "reduce motion".
What is done across the site
- A clear structure, with ordered headings and identifiable regions (header, menu, content, footer), and a "Skip to content" link to bypass the menu.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images ignored by screen readers.
- Named form fields, and tool results announced to screen readers when they change.
- The language and reading direction declared on every page: Arabic pages read right to left, with the right voice.
- Compliant colour contrast, in both the light and the dark theme.
- The whole site, tools included, works with a keyboard, with a clearly visible outline on the active element.
- Burned-in subtitles in the videos.
Known limits
- Some tools work on images (cropping, background, ID photo): their result is visual by nature, even though every step is explained in writing.
- PDF files produced by the tools are not always tagged for screen readers.
- Videos have burned-in subtitles but no separate text transcript yet.
- Content on third-party sites the site links to is outside my control.

How the site is tested
Technologies used: HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Tests: axe-core automated audit (WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules), a full keyboard walk-through, a check of the names and roles passed to screen readers, display at 200%, on Chrome and on an Android phone.
