General terms of service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms explain, in plain language, how working with OUFRID works: from the quote to delivery, including payment and the rights to the work produced. They apply to every engagement, unless the quote sets out specific conditions.

1. Provider and scope

Services are provided by Imad Oufrid, an independent web developer and digital marketing consultant based in Morocco (brand name OUFRID), hereinafter "the provider". They include website and app development and maintenance, search engine optimisation (SEO), digital marketing and consulting. The client is the person or business ordering the service.

These terms apply unless the quote sets out specific conditions. If the two conflict, the quote prevails.

2. Quote and order

3. Prices and payment

4. Late payment

If a payment is late, the provider sends a reminder. If payment is still not made after that reminder, work may be suspended until the account is settled; deadlines are then postponed accordingly.

5. Monthly services: term and cancellation

Either party may cancel a monthly service with 30 days' notice, once any minimum period stated in the quote has ended. The month in progress at the time of cancellation remains payable.

6. Client's responsibilities

The client provides the content (text, images, logos…), information and access needed (hosting, domain name, Google, advertising and store accounts…) on time. The client confirms they hold the rights to the content they supply. Any delay in providing content or access extends the deadlines by the same amount.

7. Timelines

Timelines stated in the quote start once the deposit and the materials needed to begin have been received. They are given in good faith; the provider lets the client know as soon as a delay is foreseeable.

8. Revisions and changes

9. Delivery and acceptance

After each delivery, the client has 10 days to report any issues in writing. If nothing is reported within that period, or if the client puts the work live, the delivery is deemed accepted.

10. Warranty

For 30 days after delivery, the provider fixes free of charge any bug caused by a defect in the work delivered. This warranty does not cover changes made by the client or a third party, updates to external services (hosting, CMS, plugins, APIs…) or new requests.

11. Intellectual property

12. Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other's non-public information (data, access credentials, figures, strategy) confidential and uses it only for the engagement. Access given to the provider is used solely to perform the service.

13. Portfolio

The provider may mention the project (client name, visuals, link) in his portfolio and presentation materials, unless the client objects in writing. No confidential information is ever published.

14. Best-efforts obligation

The provider commits to applying all his expertise and industry best practices: this is an obligation of means, not of result. In particular, no search engine ranking, traffic volume, sales figure or advertising performance can be guaranteed, as these depend on external factors (algorithms, competition, market, the client's offer).

15. Third-party platforms

The rules, decisions, fees and changes of third-party platforms (Google, Meta, app stores, payment gateways, hosting providers…) are outside the provider's control. Their fees and advertising budgets are borne by the client and paid directly by the client.

16. Liability

The provider's liability is limited to direct damage and, in any event, to the amount paid by the client for the service concerned. The provider is not liable for indirect losses (loss of profit, data loss due to the client not keeping backups, etc.).

17. Termination for breach

If either party commits a serious breach, the other may terminate the contract after written notice that remains unremedied for 15 days. Work completed up to termination remains payable.

18. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for any delay or failure caused by a force majeure event (disaster, major network or hosting outage, government decision…). Obligations are suspended for as long as the event lasts.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. In the event of a disagreement, the parties will first seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the provider's place of business.

For consumer clients residing in the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country of residence continue to apply.
