The 5 rounds of the duel
- 🚀 Speed Server response time, weight of the page and its first resources, compression, HTTP/2, caching, render-blocking scripts, image formats.
- 🔎 SEO The checks of our SEO audit: title, description, H1 and H2 headings, language, canonical, indexing, alt texts, Open Graph, structured data, robots.txt, sitemap.
- 📱 Mobile Phone-friendly display, zoom allowed, image sizes declared (no jumping page), images loaded when needed and sized for the screen, download weight.
- 🛡️ Trust Valid HTTPS certificate, redirect to HTTPS, legal notice and terms, visible contact details, customer reviews, company registration numbers.
- 🎯 Conversion Clear call-to-action buttons, WhatsApp, one-tap call, form, prices shown, visit and ad tracking.
This duel never judges your competitors' products, prices or brand: only technical points anyone can see. It is not a Lighthouse test: the page is not rendered and its JavaScript does not run. For the speed your real visitors feel, also use our speed test.
Frequently asked questions
How are the scores calculated?
Each round groups several measured checks, each with a weight. A passed check earns its full weight, one to improve earns half, a failed one nothing. The round score is out of 100; the overall score is the average of the measured rounds. A round is won with a lead of at least 3 points, otherwise it is a draw.
Why is a big website shown as « not measured »?
Many large brands protect their website against automated visits (Cloudflare's « Just a moment… » page, for example). Our server does not get around these protections: the website is then shown « not measured », with no made-up score, and it takes no part in the rounds.
Why do my results change slightly from one duel to the next?
A server's response time varies with the time of day and the load. We take two measurements and keep the average, but a difference of a few points is normal. The other checks (tags, legal pages, buttons…) only change when the website changes.
Do my competitors know I tested them?
No. Our server visits their home page like any visitor, introducing itself as the OUFRID tool. No message is sent to them and your name appears nowhere.
What happens to the result link?
It is kept for 7 days, then deleted. It only holds the public addresses of the websites tested, their scores and the date: not your IP address, your name or your email. Anyone with the link can see the result.
How many duels can I run?
Five per hour and per connection, so the tool stays fast for everyone. The same website is read again at most every 30 minutes: in between, its last measurement is reused.
