🧒 Train your own AI!
Show the computer examples of rock ✊, paper ✋ and scissors ✌️ with the camera: a real neural network learns to recognize them. Then play against the computer with your AI!
1. Teach it
Hold the button down while making the gesture in front of the camera. Move your hand a little: 30 to 50 examples per gesture is good. You can change the names and emojis to teach it something else!
2. Test it
3. Play against the computer
How does it work? (for parents and the curious)
An already-trained neural network (MobileNet) turns each image into a list of 1,024 numbers describing what it sees. When you press a button, those numbers are stored in the right category. To guess, the AI looks for the most similar examples (the "k-nearest neighbors" method). That's why it gets things wrong with bad examples: an AI only learns what it is shown!
Parents, teachers: my educational apps are coming
Math and learning games for kids: test them first and tell me what really works.
