⚖️ Inheritance calculator (farâ'id)

Work out the shares of an estate under the Moroccan Family Code (Maliki school): spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters, uncles, special cases, 'awl, radd and the obligatory bequest to grandchildren, with every article cited.

⚠️ Read this first

This calculation applies articles 329 to 372 of the Family Code (law n° 70-03, version in force in 2026). It replaces neither the adouls, nor the notary, nor the court, who alone draw up the deed of inheritance (Irata) and the division. It does not handle absent or missing persons, unborn children, simultaneous deaths, renunciation or assets abroad governed by another law. A reform of the Code is under discussion: check the text in force on the date of death.

Heirs alive at the time of death
Children who died before him or her and left children (obligatory bequest, art. 369 to 372)

Only add children of the deceased who died before them (or at the same time). If the children of a deceased son already inherit ("Son's sons"), they have no right to the bequest (art. 371).
