⭐ Google reviews kit: direct link, QR poster and messages to get more reviews
Get your direct "Write a review" link, a poster or QR code cards ready to print in French, Arabic or English, WhatsApp, SMS and email messages ready to send, and reply templates for positive and negative reviews.
🔒 Everything happens in your browser: nothing is sent. Your business name and link are kept on this device for next time; your customer list never is.
1. Your business
How do I find my review link? (2 minutes)
Method 1, if you manage the business's Google profile
- On a computer, sign in to the Google account that manages your profile, then search for your business name on Google (or open Google Business Profile).
- In your profile panel, click "Read reviews", then the "Get more reviews" share icon (the label may be "Ask for reviews" depending on the version).
- Copy the link shown and paste it above.
Method 2, without access to the profile
- Open Google's official tool to find a place identifier: Place ID Finder.
- Type your business name and pick it from the list.
- Copy the identifier shown (it often starts with "ChIJ") and paste it above: the tool builds the review link.
2. Your link and QR code
Always test the link: it should open your profile with the "Write a review" window. Customers must be signed in to a Google account to post.
3. Poster and cards to print
When printing, choose "Actual size" or "100%" and turn off the browser's headers and footers. For a lasting result, laminate the poster or slip it into a display stand.
4. Messages to send to your customers
Replace [Name] with the customer's first name. The WhatsApp button opens the message ready to send: you then pick the contact.
5. Send to several customers on WhatsApp
Each button opens WhatsApp with the personalised message: you send it yourself, one by one. Only send it to real customers, and only once: WhatsApp may block numbers that send too many unsolicited messages.
6. Replying to reviews
Reply to every review, positive and negative, within a few days. Always personalise the reply: mention a detail from the review.
Google's rules to follow
- No rewards: offering a discount, a gift or money in exchange for a review is forbidden, and Google may remove those reviews.
- Ask all your customers, not only the happy ones: soliciting only positive reviews, or discouraging negative ones, is forbidden. That is why the texts in this tool stay neutral.
- No fake reviews: no reviews written by you, your staff or your relatives, and no bought reviews. Abnormal bursts of reviews are detected and removed.
- Do not influence the rating or the content: you may ask for an honest review, not for "5 stars".
Getting more reviews, in practice
- Ask at the right moment: right after the service, when handing over the product, or a day or two after delivery.
- Make it easy: a visible QR code at the till or on the tables, a card in every parcel, the link in your thank-you messages.
- Ask in person: a simple sentence from you ("it would help us a lot") is worth more than any poster.
- Reply to every review: future customers read your replies, especially to negative reviews.
- Be regular: a few reviews every week are better than a wave of reviews all at once.

Limits
The tool does not connect to your Google account: it can neither read your reviews nor reply for you, and it does not check that the link really belongs to your business. So test the link before printing. A regular Google Maps link (maps.app.goo.gl or google.com/maps) opens the profile, but not the review window directly: prefer the "Get more reviews" link or the Place ID.
Frequently asked questions
Why do Google reviews matter so much?
Reviews are among the things Google takes into account to rank businesses in local results and on Google Maps, and they are often what makes a customer choose one business over another.
What is the difference between the review link and my profile link?
The review link opens the window to rate and write a review directly: the customer only has to pick the stars. The profile link opens the business page, and the customer still has to find the "Write a review" button: many give up.
Will the QR code ever expire?
No. The QR code simply contains your link, without any redirection service: it works as long as your Google profile exists. If your link changes, just make a new QR code.
Can I offer a discount in exchange for a review?
No. Google's rules forbid any reward in exchange for a review, and the reviews concerned may be removed. You can, however, simply ask all your customers for a review.
My customer has no Google account: what can I do?
To post a review you must be signed in to a Google account. On Android this is almost always the case; on iPhone the customer may need to sign in. Do not push: ask other customers.
