💡 One need, one tool

How do I create a favicon and my site's icons?

From a logo, an emoji or your initials, OUFRID's generator produces favicon.ico, favicon.svg, the Apple icon, the Android and maskable icons, the manifest and the HTML code, in a ZIP, without uploading anything.

Step by step

  1. Open the favicon generator.
  2. Choose a text or an emoji, or drop your logo, then set the background colour, shape and margin.
  3. Check the preview: light and dark tab, Google result, home screen and maskable safe zone.
  4. Download the ZIP, put the files at the root of the site and paste the code into the head tag.

Good to know

Which icon sizes do I need in 2026?

A favicon.ico, ideally a favicon.svg, a 180-pixel apple-touch-icon and, for a web app, 192 and 512-pixel icons declared in the manifest.

Why doesn't Google show my favicon?

It must be square, declared on the home page and crawlable. Google updates it at its own pace, sometimes over several weeks.

Is my logo uploaded anywhere?

No: the icons are drawn by your browser and the ZIP is created on your device.
