How can I tell if a text message is a scam?
Paste the suspicious message into OUFRID's scam detector: it spots the signs of fraud (urgency, payment, fake link) in a second, without sending anything over the Internet.

Step by step
- Long-press the text or WhatsApp message, then "Copy".
- Open the scam detector and paste the message.
- Tap "Analyze", then read the verdict and the signs found: dubious link, request for money, urgency, fake organisation.
- If in doubt, do not click: call the organisation on a number you already know.
Good to know
Is the message sent anywhere?
No. The analysis happens entirely on your phone.
Can the detector be wrong?
Yes, no tool is perfect: it gives clues. A bank or an administration never asks for a code or a payment by text.
I already clicked, what now?
Give no information, call your bank to block the card if you typed it, and change the password concerned.
